Holden Steed, an eight-year 4-H show veteran, will be teaching two fitting and showing clinics on Saturday, March 20, 9 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. in Marriott-Slaterville. Members, parents and leaders are invited to attend either the swine or the beef workshop or attend both clinics. The clinics are free; pre-registration is required by calling (801) 399-8202 by March 12. The schedule will be:
- Swine: 9 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
- Beef: 12 p.m - 2:30 p.m.
In the clinic, Holden will explain how to feed, exercise, train, groom, and show your pig or steer in a market or showmanship class. Demonstration animals will be provided.
Do not bring animals to the workshop.
