The Weber County Jr. Livestock program is designed for youth in 3rd-12th grades with an interest in livestock and related events. The program helps youth learn about animals as well as develop life skills such as leadership, public speaking and responsibility. There are activities for youth who own animals and those who do not. Activities include 4-H club meetings, livestock shows and the Weber County Fair, livestock judging, livestock quiz bowl, livestock testing program, and workshops.

4-H Swine and Beef Fitting & Showing Clinics
Holden Steed, an eight-year 4-H show veteran, will be teaching two fitting and showing clinics on Saturday, March 20, 9 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. in Marriott-Slaterville. Members, parents and leaders are invited to attend either the swine or the beef workshop or attend both clinics. The clinics are free; pre-registration is required by calling (801) 399-8202 by March 12. The schedule will be:
