- Hog Show – Thursday, August 6 (9 a.m.)
- Steer Show – Friday, August 7 (11 a.m.) - Buyer’s Social (adults only) – Saturday, August 8 at 12 noon
- Junior Livestock Auction – Saturday, August 8 at 2 p.m.
* Livestock Test award medals and Clean Stall Awards will be presented immediately prior to the auction - 4-H Portfolio Workshop Tuesday, September 1, 6:30 p.m., 4-H office
- Deadline to turn in 4-H Portfolio/FFA Record book to the 4-H office - Thursday, October 1 – 5 p.m.
- Annual Junior Livestock Meeting – Thursday, October 15 at 7 p.m., Auction Arena at Fairgrounds. Checks distributed (if at least 75% of the Jr. Livestock auction proceeds have been collected).
The Weber County Jr. Livestock program is designed for youth in 3rd-12th grades with an interest in livestock and related events. The program helps youth learn about animals as well as develop life skills such as leadership, public speaking and responsibility. There are activities for youth who own animals and those who do not. Activities include 4-H club meetings, livestock shows and the Weber County Fair, livestock judging, livestock quiz bowl, livestock testing program, and workshops.
