Key Jr. Livestock Dates for the Weber County Fair
- Weigh in – Tuesday, August 4
- Hogs – 6-7:30 a.m. (morning)
- Sheep – 6-7:30 p.m. (evening)
- Beef – 7:30 – 8:30 p.m. (evening)
* Exhibitors MUST buy passes during the weigh in for their species to get the exhibitor rates. - Junior Livestock Exhibitor Meeting – Immediately following beef weigh-in
- Junior Livestock Shows:
- Lamb Show – Wednesday, August 5 (10 a.m.)
- Hog Show – Thursday, August 6 (9 a.m.)
- Steer Show – Friday, August 7 (11 a.m.) - Buyer’s Social (adults only) – Saturday, August 8 at 12 noon
- Junior Livestock Auction – Saturday, August 8 at 2 p.m.
* Livestock Test award medals and Clean Stall Awards will be presented immediately prior to the auction - 4-H Portfolio Workshop Tuesday, September 1, 6:30 p.m., 4-H office
- Deadline to turn in 4-H Portfolio/FFA Record book to the 4-H office - Thursday, October 1 – 5 p.m.
- Annual Junior Livestock Meeting – Thursday, October 15 at 7 p.m., Auction Arena at Fairgrounds. Checks distributed (if at least 75% of the Jr. Livestock auction proceeds have been collected).
